The Glengarry Historical Society holds regular public meetings offering discussions or presentations on the fascinating history of Glengarry. And it has done so six times a year for more than 50 years!  These popular meetings are recognized as the place to learn more of the area’s rich history, and to meet and exchange ideas with like-minded people. The Society was established in the late 1950s to celebrate and preserve the history of Glengarry County, and it does so through publications, tours, the award-winning Nor’Westers and Loyalist Museum in Williamstown, and not least, it’s friendly and informative public gatherings. Meetings are held on the first Thursday of each month from the fall to the spring, in Alexandria, Williamstown or other Glengarry locations. Become a member and be there!
