    Since 1945, there has been a significant “third migration” into Glengarry County, which was neither Scottish nor French. Glengarry, My New Home: Immigration to Glengarry 1945-2012 is a collection of the memoirs of ninety-five local authors who were part of this migration, and made the county their new home.

You are invited to each of the regular meetings, which usually feature an interesting guest speaker or presentation. You will receive the Online Newsletter (several per year), and advance notice of events. Membership in Glengarry History is $20 annually, or $200 for a lifetime membership. Change of Events

The December 6 event (History of Pipers of Glengarry) is rescheduled to January 3, and the January 3 event (A Glengarry Luthier) will now take place on December 6. The venue for both is the Church on the Hill, Alexandria.
